Moore is star of the show

KIERON Moore was named boxer of the night when Northside staged their annual tournament at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Results were:

Dillon Manning (Northside) beat Josh Turner (Droitwich); Dean Carty (Northside) beat Jack Carpenter (Fleur de Lys); Kieron Moore (Northside) beat Sam Brookhouse (Walsallwood); Jake James (Northside) beat Ricky Rowlands (Fleur de Lys); Charlie Scofield (Northside) beat Danny Reece (South Normanton); Ryan Doyle (Northside) beat Javed Ram (Walsallwood); Paul Shaw (Northside) beat Nathan Russo (Tom Lowe); James Largey (Northside) beat Chris Webley (Fleur de Lys); Sean Nolan (Northside) beat Petter Bebbington (Macclesfield Boys); Adam Little (Northside) beat Luke Paddock (Walsallwood); Victor Moore (Birkenhead) beat Paul McKenna (Northside); Peter Bebbington (Macclesfield) beat Kevin Shearer (Holy Trinity); Gary Richards (Ardwick Lads) beat Andy Sheridan (Fox).

Trophies were handed out by Commonwealth champion Craig Watson who was joined by Northside’s boxer of the season and senior ABA champion Thomas Stubbs, pictured right.
