Late goal blow for Juniors

MOSTON Juniors under nines A team finished runners-up in the annual Moston Brook Tournament held last weekend.
After winning their group Juniors faced Failsworth Rangers and ran out 2-1 winners, the goals coming from Reece Axon and Joe Valentine.
In the final Juniors faced Chadderton.
They dominated the majority of the game but failed to make their advantage pay, and Chadderton broke away in the final minute to snatch a win.
Juniors B team narrowly failed to qualify from their group but finished a creditable third after a fine win over Boundary Park A.
Jordan McNuff grabbed the winner.
