Tricky Kayomi is star player

MOSTON Valley Saints’ under 12s met Heyside Whites An early goal from captain Kayomi Clarke opened the scoring for Valley.

She went on to score a hat-trick which was added to by two great goals from Holly Rule and a great finish from Victoria Boardman.

Kayomi Clarke picked up the girl of the match award.

MOSTON Valley Angels under 12s faced Oldham Athletic Girls.

Angels took the lead through Lydia Tunstall who went on to complete a hat-trick.

Angels looked to have the game sewn up, but Oldham battled back to level.

Caprice McSharry, Annette Schofield, Hollie Egan, Natasha Chadwick, Beth Tynan, Sophie Madden and Georgia Caffrey all had good games for Moston.

VALLEY under 14 Girls played Northside.

Despite having only five players they battled hard.

Ciara O’Reilly claimed a hat-trick, and Olivia Tonge hit a scorcher.

But the inevitible was always round the corner, and Northside finished the game 9-4 up.

Full praise to Ramone Fleck, Nicole Donoghue, Olivia Tonge, Amy Ginty and captain Ciara O’Reilly for a brave effort.

VALLEY under 11s were unlucky to fall behind to Chaddy End.

The lads put up a brave fight, and Keiran Thornborough hit the bar with a freekick.

The second half saw Chaddy claim another goal, but Moston replied through Michael Esho.

Moston tried hard to equalise but couldn’t salvage the game despite several great attempts.

Warner Buller, Jordan Cronin, Ryan Braithwaite and Michael Lever were best on view for Moston.
