Todd is star in victory over Celtic

MOSTON Juniors under nines A started slowly against Broadway Celtic and were caught cold when Celtic took the lead with a neat finish.

Juniors hit back straight away, and the lively Bradley Jackson finished well at the far post.

Moston were then punished for some sloppy defending and fell behind again.

The introduction of Jordan Todd seemed to galvanise Juniors and they were deservedly level at the break thanks to Joe Valentine.

Juniors dominated after the break and played some good football.

Two goals from the energetic Jack O’Leary, and a stunning strike from player of the match Jordan Todd sealed a 5-2 win.

Juniors’ B team produced a battling display against Northside A to earn a 1-1 draw.

After falling behind in the second half Juniors hit back straight away with a long-range goal from Aaron Whiteside.
