Truancy among worst in Britain

Yakub Qureshi

New figures show the attendance of primary and secondary pupils improved slightly, but the city was still ranked the fourth worst out of 150 councils.

Hasn't Manchester been the worst for Truancy for the past decade now?

Why is this still the case?
