Asthma tragedy of girl, 12

A GIRL of 12 has died after suffering her first severe asthma attack.

Beth Deakins, described by her parents as being happy and healthy, went to the cinema and for a meal with her auntie and cousin the day before she complained of feeling unwell.

She went back to her auntie's house the following day and Beth, from Gorton, Manchester, suffered a serious asthma attack and was rushed by ambulance to Manchester Royal Infirmary, where she later died.

   How desperately sad for Beth's family, and what a tragic loss of abeautiful young life. I lost my niece in similar circumstances two years ago so I know just what you are all going through.
