EVERY week we're out on the style scene scouting out you fabulous fashionistas. This week Diary Editor Dianne Bourne caught up with broadcaster and station manager Danielle Porter, 29, from Rusholme, to find out about her stylish look.



How would you describe your style?

Anything I find in the cupboard! I wear very clashing vintage clothes normally.



Where did you buy tonight's outfit and how much did it cost?

 Dress: by Manchester designer Hasan Hejazi, £150 (visit hasanhejazi.co.uk)

Tights: Primark, £2

Shoes: RAN, £20

Handbag: Ryan's Vintage, £5



Who is your style icon?

To be honest I haven't got one - I just do my own thing.



Name your favourite shops.

Ryan's Vintage for shoes, and all those other vintage shops along Oldham Street in the northern quarter.



What's your best ever buy?

I've got a blue mac that I got it in a sample sale in the northern quarter for about £20, and it's beautiful.



What's your biggest fashion mistake?

Black and pink cycling shorts with a Mickey Mouse T-shirt. I was only about 12 at the time but I still remember it all too well.



How much do you usually spend on clothes each month?

Hardly anything - I'd say £40



What item of clothing can't you live without?

My mum's cardie that she had knitted for her when she was in her 20s. It's a big full-knit cardie, it's just lovely and it goes with dresses, jeans or anything.
